Bogey Man
Operation Gma-sitting starts today. I wish I could have a better attitude about it. My friend wants to come visit me while I'm there. I feel bad because I just don't think that's going to work. I'm just so nervous about mixing him in with my family.
I have an attitude problem that really needs to go away.

If your friend wants to see you...than what's so wrong with that?
Everyone comes with a family...good, bad or indifferent.
Real men and women know, accept and support their significant other.
You don't have the right to decide what his opinion will be one way or the other.
He sounds like a great guy...let him come visit and give him the chance to form his own opinions, etc.
This doesn't involve you stepping out of your comfort zone...it involves you letting him into your comfort zone.
You just might be pleasantly surprised!
Remember...when you hold back, you're simultaneously pushing away.
If the 'relationship' is gonna go anywhere you have involve *him* some time. We arent all crazy.
